It is called “Citronella” because of its distinctive fragrant citrus aroma which also gives a calming and soothing effect for internal inflammation. Citronella oil can also be used in flavoring, medicine, and other scented products in our market today. It is a natural room deodorizer and household cleaner due to its powerful antibacterial & antifungal properties.

Children 2-6 years:

0.25% dilution (1 drop of Citronella oil per 4 teaspoons of carrier oil)

Children over 6 years & elderly:

1% dilution (1 drop of Citronella oil per teaspoon of carrier oil; 6 drops per ounce)

Adults:

2% dilution (2 drops of Citronella oil per teaspoon of carrier oil; 12 drops per ounce)

Diffusion:

Use 3-4 drops in the diffuser to spread fragrance at home. You can also apply drops on your hand and inhale it directly.

Topical:

Add 1-2 drops in a 4-ounce of water or tea.

Cautions:

  • Please use citronella oil according to the recommended dilution ratio.
  • Consult your physician before using citronella oil while pregnant.
  • Make sure to first do a 24-hour patch test before regular usage in case of allergic reactions.
  • Please avoid contact with your eyes and open wounds to avoid possible burning sensation.
